Universal Human Brain Centre (UHBC) is a behavioral and cognitive neuroscience centre based in Morocco, directed by Dr. Khoula Mmaad (PhD in Cognitive Behavioral Neuroscience). We provide multidisciplinary clinical services including neuropsychological assessment, psychotherapy, speech therapy, and life coaching.

Identity data: Full name, date of birth, national ID number (CIN)

4Legal basis (Law 09-08)

Under Moroccan Law 09-08 on the protection of personal data, we process your data on the following bases:

Consent: You explicitly agree to provide your data when booking an appointment or submitting a form
Contractual necessity: Processing required to deliver the clinical services you requested
Vital interest: In cases where health data processing is necessary to protect your health or safety
Legal obligation: As required by Moroccan health and medical record regulations

Health data is treated as sensitive data and is subject to heightened protection under Article 1 of Law 09-08.

5How we store and protect your data

Clinical records are stored securely with restricted access
Digital data is hosted on Supabase (ISO 27001 certified infrastructure)
Your health data is never shared with third parties for commercial purposes
Access to patient records is limited to authorized clinical staff only
We retain clinical data for a minimum of 10 years in accordance with Moroccan medical record laws

6Your rights under Law 09-08

You have the right to:

Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
Erasure: Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations)
Opposition: Object to certain types of data processing
Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
